NYU Professor Geoffrey Miller, twitter user @matingmind, used his twitter account to shame obese students from applying to his school. He blamed their lack of will power for eating carbs as an indicator of lack of will power to complete a dissertation.
Not only is this wrong and shameful, his reasoning about carbs is entirely incorrect as well. It’s a myth that carbs make you fat. And it’s unfortunate he relied upon this myth to make such idiotic and offensive statements.
